A Worthing teenager has been accused of raping a girl and a series of other sex offences.
The 16-year-old boy was due to appear before the town's magistrates yesterday but the case was adjourned for three weeks and is likely to be transferred to Chichester Crown Court.
He faces charges of twice indecently assaulting a girl under 16, the rape of girl aged under 16, two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl aged under 13 and indecency with a child between May 1, 2001, and September 13, 2003.
