He used to perform on Top of the Pops but David Van Day's latest comeback is not one for the children.
David, who now runs a fast food stall in Brighton city centre, is to star in a raunchy adult version of panto favourite Puss In Boots.
He is pictured with co-stars Carol Kentish and Zara Plessard and has also written the X-rated pantomime.
It will be performed at The Old Market in Hove as part of special party nights on December 4, 5, 10, 11, 13 and 18.
David and singing partner Thereza Bazar had 14 Top 40 hits in the Eighties as Dollar.
Earlier this year they were the first contenders eliminated from ITV1's reality TV contest Reborn In The USA.
They had hoped to revive their career with the show, which involved former chart stars trying their luck in America, but lost a public phone vote.
Tickets for the party nights cost £39.95 each and cover a four-course meal and mulled wine. Call 01273 229281.
