Celebrities joined in the first anniversary celebrations of a designer clothes boutique.
Among the well-known faces toasting the Aneela Rose Boutique was former ITN newsreader Carol Barnes, The Bill's Chris Ellison, Brighton Bears basketball captain Randy Duck and Brighton and Hove estate agent Glenn Mishon, of Mishon Mackay.
Guests were offered Indian savouries, hand and neck massages and giveaways.
The Lanes boutique, set up by Aneela Rose and Graham Fairbairn, combines the styles of East and West.
Hand-embroidered materials are inspired by countries such as India, the Far East and Turkey but cut to Western styles. There is also an Asian clothing range and bags, scarves and jewellery.
The shop in Brighton Square was shortlisted in the HSBC Start-Up Stars Award 2003 for new businesses.
