A teenage drama student has won a place at a top London theatre school.
Katie Goldfinch, 15 auditioned for a place at the Italia Conti School of Theatre Arts and will start in January.
The school, founded in 1911 by actress Italia Conti, is world-renowned for training actors for stage and screen.
Those who have graduated from it include Roy Marsden, Peter Bayliss, Leslie Ash and Claire Goose.
Katie, who has been a pupil at the Drusilla Duffill Theatre School in Burgess Hill since she was ten, has already trained in classical ballet, modern theatre, jazz and tap dance.
She will be following in the footsteps of some famous names.
Other celebrities groomed by the school include Naomi Campbell, Martine McCutcheon, Tracey Ullman, Jenny Powell and Lucy Speed, who plays Natalie Evans in EastEnders.
