A Girl of 11 fought off a man who tried to bundle her into his car.
The child pushed the man away after he grabbed her arms as she walked along Main Street, Northiam, near Rye.
The offender pulled up alongside the girl in his red, tatty, estate-type car, got out and took hold of her arms.

He is described as white with a slight tan, in his early 30s, about 6ft and of chubby build.
He had short hair around the back and sides of his head and was balding on top. He was wearing a large fleece jacket and blue jeans.
