Sam Francis extended his season's tally to 18 with a brace as Worthing cruised to a convincing victory at Whyteleafe to reach the third round of the FA Trophy.
Frenchman Florian Mateos and Wesley Lopez scored in between goals by Francis, who led the attack with Mark Knee and now boasts six goals in his last three games.
Rebels threatened through Knee and Paul Rogers before Francis broke the deadlock on 31 minutes with a tap in after Rogers headed on a Knee corner.
Whyteleafe, who played the entire second half with ten men after Ali Reeve was sent off for two bookable offences, were left with a mountain to climb seven minutes into the restart when Mateos rifled in a right foot volley from an assist by Francis.
Substitute Mateos unselfishly set up the lively Lopez for the third on the hour and he beat goalkeeper Danny Rose with a left foot shot from 15 yards.
Francis crowned Worthing's fine win with his second four minutes from time. Knee crossed and Francis climbed high at the far post to head past Rose.
Rebels, who gave a debut to Sean Edwards at right back, now entertain either Taunton or Yeading in the next round.
