Sussex companies are being invited to take part in a competition to find the best managed company in the United Kingdom.
The Institute of Directors (IoD), in association with Cranfield School of Management, will be selecting the nation's best-managed company during the next 12 months.
Businesses will complete an investigative survey that will assess how well they are run in comparison to their rivals.
The top performing companies will be invited to an awards ceremony in London.
Sussex IoD chairman Margaret Devlin said: "The counties of East and West Sussex are crammed with innovative, successful and profitable companies.
"These new awards offer our home-grown talent the chance to compete against other regions and gain valuable feedback about how they compare."
Application forms can be obtained by contacting Dawn Gallyot, of Cranfield School of Management, on 01234 751122.
