Leeds may be the number one place to do business but Brighton bosses are much HAPPIER than their northern counterparts.
A national survey to find the best place to do business put "the London of the North" at the top of a long list of cities.
Brighton and Hove which had the highest levels of employer satisfaction moved up eight places from number 20 to 12.
The survey carried out by independent researcher OMIS looked at key factors such as public transport and quality of workforce.
While more than 40 per cent of Leeds employers were dissatisfied with the city's performance as a whole, 79 per cent of Brighton bosses were happy.
Glasgow and Edinburgh followed Brighton neck-and-neck with 76 per cent.
