Bognor snatched a draw at Hitchin Town having fallen 2-0 behind by the break.
The Rocks went 1-0 down after 30 minutes when Leeyon Phelan looped a header over keeper Craig Stoner.
Nine minutes later Chris Dillon drilled home from just inside the box.
Home keeper Richard Wilmot made a string of saves as Bognor fought hard to get back in the game.
Matt Russell threw Bognor a lifeline with a sweet goal four minutes after the restart as he allowed David Birmingham's cross to roll across his body before delicately steering the ball over Wilmot.
Bognor kept pushing forward and the spirited performance was rewarded when Richard Hudson's cross into the box was diverted past Wilmot by Ryan Frater on 82 minutes.
Boss Jack Pearce said: "I was pleased for the lads who worked hard to get back into a game that with 45 minutes gone looked dead and buried."
