Worthing may be a long way from the Tate but a group of artists have put together their own slightly smelly version of the Turner Prize.
Students at Northbrook College used their Alturner Prize exhibition to poke fun at top artists.
Work included a tree laden with apples and tangerines doomed to decompose over the course of the show inspired by artist Anya Gallacio's work.
In the centre of the room is a nod to the Chapman Brothers' model Death.
Instead of two sex dolls in a compromising position on a lilo, the lower half of two shop mannequins are sprawled over each other.
Their modesty is covered by a piece of white cloth.
Art student Royston du Maurier-Lebek, who helped organise the show to raise funds for students' final year exhibition, said the Alturner Prize was tongue in cheek.
He said: "Its aim is to poke fun at artists. Some, like Tracy Emin, are very supportive of struggling artists. Others who are very successful don't give anything back once they've made it."
