Trashing the unique and historic architecture of Brighton and Hove by cramming in tower blocks may create short-term jobs but the long-term impact on the city's infrastructure will be disastrous.
Parking, congestion and waste collection are already chaotic enough, which can only be off-putting to the thousands of visitors the city relies on.
If anything needs development, it's the transport system. Take a leaf out of Oxford's book and ban most traffic from the city centre.
