Eastbourne Borough face a second League Cup visit to Welling after Tuesday night's game was abandoned due to fog.
It was a frustrating night for Borough.
Assistant-manager Nick Greenwood and several players arrived with the kit only just in time for the kick-off after getting stuck in heavy traffic on the M25.
Borough had most of the early possession and Andy Ducille, playing his 300th senior game, tested the keeper.
But barely half an hour's play was possible before the fog thickened and play was brought to a halt with the game goal-less.
