Horsham's good run came to an end as they fell to defeat by Bromley at foggy Queen Street.
Horsham only had themselves to blame after missing a whole host of chances to seal the game after taking a 34th minute lead.
Lee Carney played a perfect through-ball for Rhod Davis, who lifted the ball over advancing goalkeeper Danny Harwood.
After being on the back foot for the whole second half, Bromley drew level through a fluke goal on 79 minutes.
Steve Potterill fired a hopeful cross into the Horsham box and the ball rebounded off the crossbar to the feet of Adolph Amoako, who bundled it home.
Bromley stole the lead in the 87th minute when Matt Ottley back-headed another long punt and Amoako slipped the ball past the helpless Luke Burton.
