I was saddened to read the letter from Councillor Craig Turton about Hove Library (The Argus, December 5).

Its main thrust appeared to be the reasons for closing the library.

While I respect his views I feel it was wrong for him as a member of the all-party working group (at present investigating the question of the Library closure) to express such views before the group issues its findings.

In view of his obviously biased views, I suggest the Labour Party replaces him on the working group with someone more open-minded.
