Let us hope that 2004 will see the end of violence both abroad and in our cities - that discipline in the home will become more prevalent so that our streets are safer.
That young people can enjoy themselves without fear. That the elderly get properly looked after and are able to move around and get in and out of shops.
Brighton and Hove really does not cater for the elderly and disabled nearly enough.
