Two French basketball enthusiasts who met in a school playground in Paris have launched a clothing range celebrating their adopted home.
Henri Oladeji and Julien Bidami bumped into each other shooting hoops on the seafront court in Brighton a decade after they first met in the French capital.
Now they have teamed up to create a range of T-shirts, sweatshirts and hooded tops emblazoned with the "Brighton" logo.
Henri, 27, of Frith Road, Hove, said he had just arrived in the city when he met his old pal by chance.
He said: "I couldn't believe it. On my first day in Brighton I went to the basketball court and was just about to shoot my first hoop when I heard someone say 'What are you doing here?'
"I turned round and it was Julien."
Julien, 25, who lives in Seven Dials and is well known in Brighton's close-knit basketball community, said: "I've been here nearly four years so I was able to show Henri what was what in Brighton."
Henri said: "The style comes from the basketball, graffiti, hip hop and rap culture that I was involved in in Paris."
The brightly-coloured shirts first went on public display during summer basketball tournaments and have attracted a growing cult following.
