Peacehaven residents opposed to further development in their town are being invited to hear the latest news of their fight.
There has been a furious reaction to plans to put 300 more homes in Peacehaven and to Southern Water's announcement that East Peacehaven is the preferred site for a sewage treatment works.
Residents are also concerned about the possibility of Keymer and Piddinghoe Avenues becoming part of a one-way traffic scheme with an extra 3,000 traffic movements a day on to the already crowded South Coast Road.
A meeting is to be held in the main hall in the Meridian Centre, Peacehaven, on Friday at 8pm to discuss the schemes.
John Hodgson of PROUD - Peacehaven Opposed to Urban Development - said: "Following meetings with planners it has become clear what the implications of the development will be to the people of Peacehaven.
"We want to keep residents up to date with the consequences of putting more homes in a town which is already stretched to its limit."
