Haywards Heath are back on track for a mid-table finish in National Three South.
They scored a try in each half to beat Dings Crusaders 21-10 at Whitemans Green on Saturday.
It was their first win in three outings and eases any relegation fears which might have been starting to creep in.
No. 8 Glenn Rankin was among the Heath players in superb form and his strong running punched big holes in the Dings defence.
He was heavily involved in both home tries, with Paul Flemming's long pass sending Adam Phillips in for the first, then Jon Graham adding the clinching score midway through the second period.
Owen Ashton kicked a conversion and three penalties.
Dings did not break through until the very last move of the match, Paul Finkin touching down.
Waylon Gaskin converted to add to his opportunistic 11th-minute drop goal.
