I wish to comment on your articles on homelessness in Brighton and Hove and the St Patrick's Trust's response to this homelessness (The Argus, December 12 and December 23).
Though I applaud your willingness to raise awareness of this issue, both articles smacked of propaganda.
The hostel, Nightshelter and move-on accommodation that St Patrick's provides are handsomely funded by the local authority.
Despite what St Patrick's would have people believe, Brighton has the country's most sophisticated, forward-looking homeless services.
There are wealth of agencies working together to provide long-term solutions, including Brighton Housing Trust, crime reduction initiatives, Addaction and Equinox.
