A publication has been launched that aims to solve the 'where to eat' dilemma at the turn of a page.
The Menu Guide, created by Andy Peck and Carol Ives, has been backed by 50 of Brighton and Hove's cafes, bars and restaurants.
Each establishment has reproduced a menu and price list for the glossy brochure, which will be updated every six months.
Similar 'coffee table' publications have proved a hit in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
But The Menu Guide is thought to be the first of its kind in the UK.
Mr Peck, who used to be a marketing manager for Red Bull, has secured sponsorship from big names, including Coca-Cola.
He said: "There is a huge range of places to eat in Brighton but I suspect most people are guilty of going to the same restaurants time and time again.
"We want this guide to be a handy reference so people can call their mate up and decide where they want to eat while checking out the menu."
The guide has been delivered to 90,000 homes and hotels.
