A traumatic week for Horsham boss John Maggs ended on a happy note as his side notched up a fine win at Bromley in division one.

Maggs released Ahmet Suleymanoglu and Rob Hughes and then parted company with his sssistant of four years, Ali Rennie, on Friday.

"After recent games it was clear that things needed to be changed," said Maggs.

"I've brought in Tommy Warrilow as coach and the players have responded with their best performance of the season."

Maggs added: "The lads deserve credit. Gary Charman was magnificent, but every player did well."

Horsham went a goal down after seven minutes when Adolphe Amoake squared for Bobby George to net from close range.

However, the Ravens' lead lasted only two minutes as Carlo Castrechino crossed for Charman to finish with a looping header over home goalkeeper Andy Hunt.

Horsham took the lead on the half hour when Lee Carney and Charman combined for Andy Walker to score his first goal for the club.

Charman made sure of the points when he latched onto Carney's through ball 30 seconds after the restart and coolly slotted home.
