Having enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Komedia, watching the excellent Topping And Butch, our elated mood vanished at the NCP car park in Church Street, Brighton.
On placing the ticket in the payment machine, we were charged £7.60 for four and a half hours' parking.
It was a Sunday night, the car park was empty (no wonder) and there was no sign of any security staff.
Surely one could expect a visible security officer for that price structure.
There was a complete absence of a fee schedule, just a sign stating "from 40p".
