Worthing manager Alan Pook today accused Hednesford of deliberately postponing Saturday's FA Trophy game.
The sides try again tonight but Pook says the match should have gone ahead at the weekend after doing his own pitch inspection.
The fourth round tie was called off on Friday lunchtime due to a frozen pitch.
But Pook, who was visiting friends in the area, was furious after seeing the pitch for himself.
He said: "I spoke to four people from Hednesford to see if I could go to the ground and they all gave me different cock-and-bull stories about why I couldn't see the pitch.
"They said they couldn't open up the ground and that I couldn't even see it from outside, but when I went down there I could and it looked fine to me."
Pook wanted his side to stay in a hotel the night before the game to ensure the best preparation for one of their biggest matches of the season.
He said: "It makes it very difficult for us now because we have to leave this afternoon which is not ideal. I wanted us to be able to prepare properly for the game and not have to travel up on the day."
Andy Lutwyche and Ross Johnson are unavailable due to work commitments.
