Burgess Hill assistant manager Jason Rutherford heaved a sigh of relief today after boss Gary Croydon returned from holiday.
Rutherford has been in charge during Croydon's two-week break in the Maldives and admits he has not enjoyed his time in the hot-seat after seeing his team lose 2-1 at Folkestone Invicta.
Steve Harper put the Hillians ahead from the penalty spot on the half hour after Ashley Carr was brought down by Scott Lindsey. Tony Hogg equalised on 41 minutes and John Guest hit the winner on 69 minutes.
The Hillians lost their discipline in injury time with both Nicky Bridge and Ben Andrews being sent off. Rutherford said: "I'm over the moon Gary is back. It's so stressful being the boss so I will not miss it at all."
