I can only assume from Adam Trimingham's column of January 28 that he votes Conservative.
Firstly, the Hutton report has cleared Tony Blair and the Government of any wrong doings.
This Prime Minister has come through the problems in Northern Ireland, Serbia, Slovakia, the former Yugoslavia, war in Iraq, top-up fees, foundation hospitals and so on.
Over the past 50 years the Conservatives had 36 years in power but what did they achieve? They sold council houses which has led to the present housing shortage and people on low incomes.
They took the UK into the European Market with no offer of a referendum.
What did they do about public transport? What did they do about hospital waiting lists? What did they do about education? What did they do about immigration?
Now let's go on to what the Labour Party has achieved. Firstly, consultant doctors now earn between £60,000 to £80,000 a year with no weekend call-outs.
We have thousands more students going to university. The rail network is improving. It will take time but it was lack of investment by previous governments which caused the present situation.
We have more police and they are still the best force in the world. More doctors and nurses are being trained.
The Labour Party has kept inflation between two and three per cent over the past five years.
We have low unemployment, low bank rates, low mortgage rates and our economy is in the top six in the world.
All this has been achieved by the Prime Minister, Tony Blair and his government. Tony Blair is the best Prime Minister the Labour Party has had in decades. Long may he reign.
We live in a democracy and with the Labour Party we are moving forward. Blair must stay.
