Nathan Jones is in contention for his first Albion appearance of the year at the ground where he launched his career in England.
The enthusiastic Welshman makes a nostalgic return to Kenilworth Road for the clash against fellow play-off chasers Luton Town.
Manager Mark McGhee is pleased to have Jones back from a four-match ban, which coincided with a knee injury.
McGhee said: "He is a great lad to have around the dressing room. He gets other people at it but he also contributes in a way that we've not had in the last few weeks.
"He is a good option and we will be looking seriously at whether we should bring his freshness back into the team."
Jones has not featured since he was sent-off for the second time this season at Swindon just after Christmas.
"Just to be eligible again is nice," said the left-sided midfielder. "I cannot stress how frustrating and depressing it has been.
"I am a single boy, I live on my own and I live and breathe football, 24 hours a day, every day of the week."
Jones was with the Hatters in the 1995-96 season but never made a League appearance for them.
He said: "I have fond memories of the club. I only left because I wasn't getting a first team look-in with David Pleat leaving and Terry Westley taking over."
A second away win since September would lift Albion two places to fourth, while a draw will ease them above Barnsley on goal difference.
Geoff Pitcher has gone out on loan again, this time to Havant and Waterlooville.
