Regarding Brighton and Hove's transport problems, one solution would be to extend Volk's Railway all the way along the seafront and link the Marina, the new ice rink and the new King Alfred development.
Volk's Railway is an under-used asset. It is the first electric railway in the country and so of great historical importance.
If extended, it would avoid all traffic jams and delays and be great fun as well. It could become a big tourist attraction as well as providing a valuable traffic link.
