In 1940 when invasion was imminent, this country abandoned the slanging of party politics and formed a national government under the leadership of Winston Churchill, whose rhetoric inspired the nation to win the war.

Although in a different way, this country is now in a far worse way than it was in 1940.

We are morally bankrupt, law and order has broken down and immigrants are pouring into our already over-crowded island.

The present House of Commons could not provide a Cabinet of the calibre of 1940.

In theory, New Labour or the Tories will win the next General Election but in practice, it will be the non-elected Liberal Trendy Party who will govern us and the law-abiding majority will continue to suffer.

All those who died in the last two wars gave their lives in vain. Weak governments have let them down.
