Several years ago, Argus readers were invited to nominate the ugliest buildings in Sussex.
My own choice was the former Allen West factory in Lewes Road, Brighton, which has since been superbly restored to become one of the city's architectural gems.
Sadly, a new generation of ugly buildings has emerged, the worst of which I have come across is a large derelict office building opposite the bowling greens in Preston Park.
With the park never looking better - the Rotunda is in the middle of a restoration - such an ugly blot on the Preston Road stands out like a sore thumb.
This ugliest of buildings looks beyond repair and ready for the demolition squads.
I am wondering if this is Sussex's most ugly building or is there another even more hideous?
