Manager John Maggs believes Horsham's home win against title-chasers Hampton and Richmond proves their recent good form is no fluke.
Lee Carney put the Hornets ahead after 39 minutes but the visitors hit back through Dudley Gardner six minutes after half time. Gary Charman restored the lead just past the hour mark and Carney hit his second 13 minutes from time to give Hornets their fourth win in five games.
Maggs said: "We were worthy winners and it proves the last two months have not been a flash in the pan.
"I said we have improved and we showed that because to beat a side like Hampton is a very good result.
"We were strong all over the pitch and I could not have asked for more effort or commitment from any of the players."
