Lewes boss Steven King does not care how ugly his side plays as long as they keep on winning.
The Rooks came from behind to beat Met Police 2-1 at home to stay three points behind leaders Windsor and Eton with two games in hand.
Symon James gave the visitors the lead after four minutes but Lee Newman equalised just two minutes later with a header from a Dwain Clarke cross.
Marc Whiteman won it on 68 minutes with a header which was deflected in.
King said: "I wasn't happy with the performance but at this stage of the season it's only the results that matter.
"Teams are going to make it difficult for us so if we are winning games then I don't really care how we play."
