Bognor captain Michael Birmingham has paid tribute to striker Matt Russell after another match-winning performance.
Russell scored two second-half goals in a 2-0 home win over Kingstonian which keeps Rocks fourth in the premier division.
Russell has scored 18 goals this season, which follows last season's tally of 34 when Bognor were promoted from division one south.
Birmingham said: "Matt showed last season he can score goals and he has made the step-up look easy. He scored two superb goals once again and I think he's got 18 this season now, which is phenomenal.
"The performance was not pretty because Kingstonian came to snub us out but we ground out the result which was the important thing."
