Horsham boss John Maggs believes the character in the side is stronger than it has ever been.
The Hornets won 2-0 at strugglers Egham thanks to a Carlo Castrechino strike just before the interval and neat finish from Dave Soutar three minutes from time.
Maggs was forced to field a depleted team, including defender John Kirby who played despite a serious foot injury.
Maggs said: "We would have lost that game earlier in the season but now we have so much character in the side that we have got a chance of winning every time we play."
