Manager Steven King believes Lewes have rediscovered their early season form.
The Rooks won 4-2 at lowly Corinthian Casuals to stay second in division one south.
Danny Davis opened the scoring for Lewes after 13 minutes but Justin Georgiou levelled before half time.
Marc Whiteman added two goals in eight second half minutes to put the Rooks back in control and, after Georgiou had replied with a penalty, Kirk Watts completed the win three minutes from time.
King said: "We were back to the old Lewes we were at the start of the season, which was great to see.
"The pitch was lovely and we just passed them off it. There was not a time in the game when we didn't look in control."
