A 16th Century butcher's shop is changing hands for the first time in 68 years.
V M Brooks Butcher's, in High Street, Steyning, has been bought by residents Michael and Eve Chalcraft and Chris and Jason Bason.
The new owners have given the shop, expected to reopen on Saturday, a new name - Chanctonbury Butcher's.
Mr Chalcraft said: "We are aware of the importance of keeping local businesses alive for use by local people."
