Some of Britain's leading actors are being paid through a Brighton accountancy firm.
Mazars, based in Frederick Place, has secured the contract to manage payments for leading London agent Ken McReddie, whose clients include Helen Mirren and David Suchet.
The Mazars team, consisting of partner David Martin, manager George Clayson and accounts assistant Lorelei Henley, sends payments to, and fields queries from, a host of household names, including Penelope Keith and Jenny Agutter.
Mr McReddie said the service he and his clients received from Mazars has "star quality".
He said: "They turn out the work with a speed and accuracy that impresses us all."
Mr Martin now hopes Mazars' Brighton office will get even more work in the entertainment industry.
Mazars uses AgentFile,a modern software system designed for the entertainment industry.
Artists receive payments for a wide range of engagements and the Mazars team keeps them up to date on how much they are being paid.
