Although born and bred in Brighton, I have lived in Scotland and the North East of England for the past 20 years.
On Saturday I was proud to hold the Albion banner for National Falmer Day at England's northernmost football club, Berwick Rangers.
Along with friends and family we attended their match with Hamilton Academicals and distributed almost 500 leaflets explaining the Albion's plight and received requests for almost 100 letters to send to John Prescott lobbying him for the right decision.
Support for Brighton and Hove Albion and Falmer was immense from both the supporters and officials of both Hamilton and Berwick.
It is good to know that the good name of Brighton and Hove Albion has spread so far and is held in such high esteem.
