In reply to Geoff Kiss (Letters, March 8) asking for thoughts on how to deal with these rude young women, the answer is simple, Mr Kiss, you cannot.
If their parents have not brought them up properly - to be courteous, polite, caring and respectful - then their schoolteachers will not be able to control them (let alone teach them).
They have no fear of the police or anyone else in authority, as they know their rights, that basically no-one can do anything to them.
I sympathise, Mr Kiss. It is hard not to lower yourself to their level.
It is also very upsetting and intimidating, especially in front of younger children.
The worst thing is that they are going to grow into even worse adults who will probably go on to have their own awful offspring.
God help us all!
