I am not surprised about the huge uprise against these hideous bins.

To make them look worse they are embellished with red and white hazard stripes down each corner - honestly, as if you couldn't see the damn things anyway!

They don't have to be the size of transit vans either. If we had slightly smaller ones - as have been used successfully in Westminster for the past 15 years without complaints - they wouldn't be as noticeable nor require designated bays.

This is yet another example of Brighton and Hove City Council's lack of intelligence and a huge waste of our money.

The slightly smaller bins are about a quarter of the cost and just as effective.
