Tea and toast in the Princes cinema in North Street, although balancing a hot teapot on your lap during a film was risky if others needed to get by.
The old Palace Pier with dancing to romantic music. Fishing at the end of the pier. Strolling along the seafront without having to look out for drunks, cyclists and foul-mouthed youngsters. Is it my age or was life so much nicer a few decades ago?
The rat-race is poisoning people's souls. The world is beautiful. Let's start enjoying it again.
