Katie Price's first public clinch with singer Peter Andre will have caused little surprise in Sussex.
But eyebrows were raised 150 miles away in Norfolk, where it is claimed the model was supposed to be opening a nightclub.
Now managers of Mercy in Norwich are to take legal action.
It is alleged she signed a contract before her appearance in ITV's I'm a Celebrity ... Get me Out Of Here! in January - one of a number of personal appearances arranged by her manager Dave Read before she publicly sacked him on her return to Sussex.
He broke his silence over the split yesterday, bitterly criticising her for failing to honour her commitments.
The 25-year-old, who lives in Maresfield, announced she was "retiring" her alter-ego Jordan.
Newspapers showed pictures of Katie and Peter kissing publicly for the first time in Haywards Heath on Friday - when it is claimed she should have been in Norwich.
Toby Middleton, manager of Mercy told The Argus: "We had a contract and she reneged on it."
Mr Middleton could not confirm how much the club would be demanding but said it had spent "thousands" on pre-publicity.
It is claimed Miss Price was paid half her £3,000 appearance fee when she signed the contract.
Mr Read said her decision to change her image had initially damaged his business.
He said: "I am getting some flack to be honest and there has been a negative affect on my company.
"I think she is being unprofessional."
Miss Price has also cancelled up to a dozen appearances at Brannigans bars across the country.
A spokeswoman said the company was still considering whether to sue the former glamour model.
Horsham-based Can Management, which represents Miss Price and Peter Andre, said: "We are not aware of any legal action so we cannot make a comment."
