I am disabled and, a couple of years ago, The Argus published a story about the poor treatment I received when I visited a local pub.

Soon after, I received an anonymous letter (presumably from one of your less desirable readers) which had to be reported to the police.

The letter contained a lot of abusive, anti-disability language and promised that I was "going to get it!". (The letter didn't specify what "it" was).

Another letter of mine was published recently regarding the lack of wheelchair-accessible Brighton venues offered by Britain's leading speed dating agency.

I have now received another anonymous letter (very similar to the first). Once again the letter contains abusive language designed to cause offence to the disabled and the letter ends with the threat "your gonna get it" sic.

I have the following message for the author of these letters. If I feel the need to alert my local community to any kind of injustice or undesirable situation, I will take steps to do so without hesitation.

Your small-minded attitude saddens me and the state of your spelling/language skills makes me despair of the British education system but your threats do not scare me and will not silence me. Your letter will be handed to the police.
