I read with interest your article on Brighton and Hove setting up a hotline to enable disabled people to report issues with regard to their taxi services (The Argus, March 8).
Readers might like to know that Brighton and Hove City Council, together with the management of Churchill Square, is to launch a new service for the disabled and older people called Shopmobility.
The service, to be launched next Wednesday, will enable these people to hire scooters and wheelchairs to enable them to get around the city centre more easily.
