I think a sculpture of a naked, pregnant, limbless Alison Lapper is not suitable to stand on the spare plinth in Trafalgar Square in the shadow of Nelson's Column (The Argus, March 17).
I believe that the spare plinth is the rightful place for a statue of one of recent times greats such as Winston Churchill or even Princess Diana.
Once again I ask myself what is this country coming to by thinking of displaying this sculpture in such a place?
