You can imagine my disgust when I saw two wardens park their car on double yellow lines in Regency Square at 11.30pm on Saturday, March 13 and then proceed on foot to Preston Street to begin booking others.
I confronted one of them and was told they get special "dispensation" to park that way.
Where is the justice in that? It seems it is okay for them to break the law under the guise of enforcing it.
I was under the impression that it was illegal for anyone to park on double yellow lines.
If this is the case, why didn't they park on Preston Street for all to see rather than park on the poorly-lit Regency Square where no one else could see them getting out of the unmarked white Fiesta?
