Eastbourne Borough boss Garry Wilson was left fuming with a "very weak penalty decision" which cost his side three points in the draw at Hinckley.

Borough were leading 2-1 with six minutes to go when Justin Jenkins went down under a challenge from Ollie Rowland.

The referee gave the spot kick on the advice of his assistant and Jamie Lenton converted.

Jenkins had given Hinckley the lead after 27 minutes, but the home side's celebrations were cut short when Stuart Tuck equalised three minutes later from a free kick by Danny Simmonds.

Captain Daren Pearce put Borough ahead on 35 minutes and for a long time the goal looked good enough for the points until the controversial ending to the game.

Wilson said: "It was a very weak decision and it has left us all really disappointed about the result.

"We dug in deep and our performance was good. They didn't look like troubling us too much when we went in front, so to concede a goal like that at the end leaves us a bit down in the dumps."
