Why on earth did councillors allow a huge security fence around the Mackie Avenue bowling green?
It is almost three metres high, in shiny bare metal and does not fit in with its surroundings.
While I appreciate that the bowling club has every right to protect its property, it should have spared a thought for the residents who now have to look at this eyesore every single day and chosen a more appropriate style and colour of fence.
