Alan Nunn says Good Friday is the most important day in the Christian calendar and suggests that "rather than go to work, people should
stay at home and spend a quiet day reading and meditating" (Letters, April 9).
Dream on, Mr Nunn. The irony of it is, those of us in the baking trade are far too busy producing hot cross buns to take the day off.
Mr Nunn is also very naive to assume that everyone who works on Good Friday is a Christian.
