Apart from small newsagents, why was the Church of England the only place trading on Easter Sunday?
The large flower stall on church land at St John's Church in Palmeira Square, Hove, did a roaring trade on Easter Sunday and Good Friday, yet I thought the Church believed Sundays, and especially Easter
Sunday, should be kept special.
This seems to be a case of "don't do what I do, do what I say".
