The price of all-day bus tickets will soon rise by 20p.
From Sunday, April 25, Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company will increase the price of £2.40 Saver tickets purchased from drivers to £2.60.
Tickets purchased in advance from 1 Stop Travel will remain at £2.40 and packs of five from post offices will also remain at £12.
Managing director Roger French said the all-day tickets were reduced to £2.40 from £3 in May last year when some other fares rose.
He said: "We have been pleased to hold the £2.40 special offer price of a one-day travel ticket since last summer and believe the price of £2.60 still offers a great bargain for a whole day's travel."
Prices of the company's other tickets, such as the £1.20 one-journey fare, and the full range of Saver tickets stay unchanged.
The new edition of Bus Times, which also contains details of timetables for the summer, will be available from next week.
